Yes! We are currently just mobile.
-
I'm going on vacation, will a spray tan hold up in a lot of water?
Yes! A lot of our clients get spray tans before vacation to start with a glow and/or to avoid the sun & burning. We aren’t going to tell you not to enjoy your vacation. However, you do want to avoid submerging yourself in water as much as possible because it will strip the tan; especially pools & hottubs.
We can also bring you a Self-Tanning Extending Lotion to your appointment, to take with you, so you can reapply if your spray tan starts to fade!
-
Are there SPF properties in your solution?
No! there are no SPF properties in our solution, so it’s still super important you are protecting your skin. Our favorite tan-safe & cream-based SPF choices are: Coola, Sunbum, and Alba.
Avoid aerosols or sprays because they will leave your spray tan blotchy.
-
I'm pregnant and breastfeeding. Can I still get a spray tan?
While our solutions are made of clean & natural ingredients, we still recommend contacting your OBGYN or GP to get their permission during your pregnancy. We also can recommend our Self-Tanning Lotion Extender, Facial Tanning Mist, and Bronzing Glow Drops that can create a sunless glow without a spray tan.
To be extra cautious, if you are breastfeeding, we require a bathing suit top or bandeau to cover up where your little one will be feeding.
-
If my wedding is on Sunday, when should I book a spray tan so it still looks good?
We recommend spraying a bride and bridal party 2-3 days before the BIG day to ensure the spray tan is completely dry and processed.
Please make sure you book a trial tan with us beforehand to ensure we get the perfect formula for your big day. You can visit our “Bride Only Packages” tab to get both a trial tan & wedding tan and save money.
-
I have sensitive skin, can I still get a spray tan?
If you feel you have sensitive skin, or have any doubts about our spray solution, we recommend checking with your doctor or dermatologist. We also can perform a small localized test spray to check your skin’s compatibility before having a full body spray. We will leave the solution on your skin for 24 HOURS. Please directly contact us: 267-936-7763 if this resonates with you, so we can best accommodate.
-
Do you do Saturday or Sunday appointments?
Saturdays we are now open 9am-1pm! While we are usually closed on Sundays, you can inquire about an appointment by contacting us directly at: 267-946-7763. These appointments are an additional $15 convenience fee & must be made at least 24 hours in advance to give ample amount of time for our mobile spray techs to prepare.
-
What's the difference between your rapid and standard solution?
The difference is simply the timing you have and the rinsing process.
Our Standard solution is our leisure process. There isn’t any rush, you’re getting it just because or you’re preparing for an event that’s happening on the weekend. You have PLENTY of time to let the DHA process, which is (8-12 hours or overnight).
THE STANDARD PROCESS:
in 8-12 hours you will rinse with lukewarm water, NO SOAP to remove the bronzer. In 24 hours, your color will be fully developed, and you can officially shower with tan-safe soap, pat dry with a towel, and apply tons of moisturizer all over your body to hydrate. Please make sure to shower with tan-safe soap at 24 hours so that the DHA does not over process in the skin.
Our Rapid solution is our favorite & ideal for busy babes, gym rats, moms, and last-minuters! Rapid solution is also a great option for people who are around water or heat at work. In terms of “processing time”, the Rapid solution has a higher concentration of DHA, so it requires less time to be left on the body (2-5 hours) depending on your color desirability. The longer you leave a Rapid solution on to process, the darker your tan will be.
THE RAPID PROCESS:
Rinse only (NO SOAP) with lukewarm water in 1-2 hours to achieve a light tan, 2-3 hours to achieve a medium tan, and 4-5 hours to achieve a dark tan. Your spray technician will make sure she has the calculated times to rinse & shower written on your appointment card before she leaves you. In 24 hours you will shower with our tan-safe body wash to stop the DHA from processing and after that shower, the color will be fully developed.
-
This is my first time getting a spray tan, what do I do to prep?
Make sure all other service appointments are scheduled BEFORE your spray tan (hair, nails, facials, lashes, massages, etc.) You can read all about our 24 hour prep right here!
-
What should I wear to my appointment?
BEFORE & AFTER APPOINTMENT:
We recommend dark, long, and baggy clothing. Avoid bras, socks, and open-toed shoes as some minor rub off can occur after your spray tan. Our solution is water-soluble, so it will easily wash out of most fabrics, however some lighter fabrics like satin, leather, and whites may stain.
DURING APPOINTMENT: You may rock your birthday suit or a full bathing suit. Most of our clients wear just a thong. Totally up to your comfort level! All of our spray techs are fully trained to operate in discreet manner & fully respect client confidentiality.
If you would like to wear something more than a thong, we suggest bikinis for women & dark shorts or trunks for men.
-
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policies?
Deposits are non-refundable*
You can read our updated cancellation & rescheduling policies here :)
-
I want to book you guys for my wedding, what is the reserving process & how soon would you suggest booking?
For our brides, we suggest booking ASAP. We do this to ensure we can best accommodate you because once spots are filled, they are filled. So we suggest our brides book by heading over to our “bride only packages” for more information.
As for your bridesmaids or other group members, try to get a headcount ASAP and then head over to “glow parties” to find more information. You can reserve your glow party there. The bigger the party, the bigger the discount!
-
I made an appointment for a standard spray tan, but I’ve decided to switch!
This is not a problem at all! Your spray technician can easily do this at your appointment, so don’t worry.
-
Is showering with hot water bad?
YES! Hot water is a spray tans worst nightmare because it dries out the skin. It could make the spray tan an entire shade lighter, even after it’s fully processed. So, keep it lukewarm shower temps ONLY.
-
I don’t see the day or time available that I need :(
Go ahead and add yourself to our waitlist for that day! You can do that by clicking “book now”. You will see “add to the waitlist” under the “sorry we’re booked message.” If we are to have any cancellations or reschedules for that day, we will look to our waitlist for who’s up first to claim! Please contact us with any questions.
-
Can I wash my hair before my appointment and after?
Please wash your hair 24 hours BEFORE your appointment and make sure to shower any remaining residues off the day of your appointment at least 2-3 hours beforehand. If you wash your hair on the day of your appointment, the risk of ruining your tan, greatly increases & we have the right to reschedule you if we see your hair is wet.
After your spray tan has completely processed and developed in 24 hours, you are safe to wash your hair. However, we still recommend washing on the side of your body or over the bathtub to avoid stripping in case your hair products have not-so-safe ingredients for a spray tan.
If you haven’t already, visit “spray tanning prep & aftercare” for more information!
-
How long does the appointment take?
Usually about 60 mins to get to you, set up, consult, prep, spray, breakdown, go over aftercare & answer any questions you may have.
-
Do I have to shower or rinse at the times you write down for me?
Yes! The times we write down for you are not a suggestion, but are calculated. There is some wiggle room, which your spray tech can explain at your appointment, but DHA is chemically reacting with your skin.
So yes, it is so important you follow our instructions—including times to rinse or shower, so that you don’t over-process & mess with the hue of the spray tan.
